Why we need your support?
While our training is provided by East Midland Ambulance Service, we are reliant on charitable donations to fund our life-saving medical equipment. Our volunteers do their best to raise money during the year through sponsored events and by engaging with local community groups and businesses.
We need to raise approximately £1,000 a month to meet the costs of general upkeep of the charity, a leased ambulance response vehicle and the vital equipment we carry. We are an ambitious group and aim to grow the number of CFR’s in our team. That ambition will bring with it additional costs. To fully kit out a new responder there is a cost of approximately £1,500 which comes from donations to our group.
We are grateful to all of our supporters, from the largest grant through to the smallest donation of a few coins in a collecting tin.
